Launch: It is expected to go on sale by April 2024.
Price: The ICE (internal combustion engine) version of the Curvv could be priced from Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Seating Capacity: The Tata Curvv will come in a 5-seater layout.
Engine and Transmission: Tata’s coupe SUV will use a new 1.2-litre T-GDi (turbo) petrol engine (125PS/225Nm). This engine is likely to be mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) taken from the Nexon.
Features: Features on board the Curvv could include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, larger touchscreen infotainment system, touch-enabled climate control panel, and panoramic glass roof. It is also expected to get ventilated seats, cruise control, and push-button start/stop.
Safety: In terms of safety, the Curvv will come with 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The Curvv is also expected to come with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like autonomous-emergency braking and blind spot assist.
Rivals: It will be a rival to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircoss And MG Astor.
